#Hack4refugees by Techfugees Barcelona is the first hackathon of its kind in Spain and will open up opportunities to:<\/p>\n

\nYou can join Techfugees as a team or as an individual looking for a team – we’ll help you all the way. You might be a:<\/p>\n
Visionary – you see what the future could be and have ideas about how to make it happen
\nHustler – you can build relationships and turn a vision into a reality
\nHacker – you take a vision and work out how to prototype it and get feedback
\nDesigner – you walk in the customer’s shoes and work out the look and feel of the vision
\nEnthuser – you’re just keen to come along and find out where you fit!
\nIt doesn’t matter if you’re not a “techie” and you have no idea what a hackathon is: everyone is welcome!<\/p>\n

ABOUT TECHFUGEES<\/p>\n
Founded in 2015, Techfugees is an international non-profit organization coordinating the commitment of the tech community to contribute to build solutions for and with displaced people and to meet their needs. Techfugees operates in five priority areas where tech can have a significant impact: access to rights and information, education, health, employment and social inclusion.<\/p>\n
Since its creation, Techfugees has grown into 18 chapters lead by 50 volunteers organizing hundreds of dedicated events around the world, including more than 30 hackathons and two Global Summits and supported by an online community of more than 45000 members.<\/p>\n
Fundado en 2015, Techfugees es una organizaci\u00f3n internacional sin \u00e1nimo de lucro que coordina el compromiso de la comunidad tecnol\u00f3gica para contribuir en la creaci\u00f3n de soluciones con y para las personas migrantes. Techfugees opera en cinco \u00e1reas prioritarias donde la tecnolog\u00eda puede tener un impacto significativo: acceso a la informaci\u00f3n, educaci\u00f3n, sanidad, empleo e inclusi\u00f3n social.<\/p>\n
Desde su creaci\u00f3n, Techfugees ha crecido en 18 emplazamientos, con unas 50 personas voluntarias que lo coordinan, organizando cientos de eventos en el mundo incluyendo m\u00e1s de 30 hackathones y dos Encuentros Globales y soportado por una comunidad online de m\u00e1s de 45000 miembros.<\/p>\n
