The GRAUSTIC Digital Innovation Awards of Catalonia aim to recognize initiatives, professionals, companies, or institutions operating in Catalonia, regardless of their physical location, that stand out for their innovative use and promotion of information and communication technologies (ICT). These awards seek to highlight contributions that drive innovation, generate a significant impact on the business and social landscape, encourage export efforts, and promote social responsibility, helping to transform Catalonia into a global benchmark in the digital sphere.

How to participate?
All companies and initiatives wishing to participate can submit their applications through the form until October 17, 2025. The awards ceremony will take place during the Catalonia Information and Communication Technologies Day, which will be held on November 11 and 12 at the Telefónica Tower in Barcelona.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Digital Innovation in Urban and Public Space (co-organized with the Bit-Habitat Foundation of the Barcelona City Council): awarded to the initiative that has particularly stood out for introducing innovative improvements in cities and public spaces through the use of ICT.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Efficient Energy Management, Sustainability, and Decarbonization through ICT (co-organized with the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia): recognizes the organization or project that has most excelled in the past calendar year in improving energy efficiency and/or decarbonization through the use of ICT.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Digital Innovation in Non-Technological Sectors (co-organized with Fira de Barcelona): awarded to the company that, in traditionally non-technological sectors, has stood out by introducing digital innovation to achieve significant improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, and sustainability.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Social Integration through Digitalization (co-organized with the iSocial Foundation): awarded to the company, organization, or institution that has most contributed in the past calendar year to promoting social integration. This can be through making their products, services, projects, or activities accessible to all via new technologies or by developing innovative digital tools for the integration of vulnerable individuals and groups.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Local Government Projects (co-organized with Localret): recognizes the initiative of a local government that has particularly stood out by introducing innovative improvements in municipalities through the use of ICT.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Innovation through Mobile Technologies (co-organized with Mobile World Capital): awarded to the initiative, company, organization, or institution that has excelled in the past calendar year by introducing innovations that, through mobile technologies, improve citizens’ quality of life or business efficiency.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Innovation in the Blue Economy through ICT (co-organized with the BCN Port Innovation Foundation of the Port of Barcelona): recognizes the initiative that has excelled in innovating through ICT in the economy centered on the importance of seas and oceans as economic drivers, with great potential for innovation and growth.

• GRAUSTIC Women in ICT Award (co-organized with the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Department of Business and Labor of the Government of Catalonia): recognizes the woman who has most stood out in driving innovation, technology, and digital transformation in her professional environment during the past calendar year.

• GRAUSTIC Award for Young Digital Entrepreneurship (co-organized with Tech Barcelona): rewards the capacity of one or more individuals under 35 who have stood out for launching an innovative business initiative in the ICT field or one that is mainly based on its use. Eligible initiatives must be no more than three years old.

• GRAUSTIC ICT Award for Innovation in Health (co-organized with the TIC Salut Social Foundation): rewards innovation in the application of ICT to digital transformation and the creation of new products, services, or solutions focused on people’s needs, as well as value generation within the health ecosystem in an integrated care context.

• GRAUSTIC ICT Award for Innovation in Industry 4.0 (co-organized with the Barcelona Free Zone Consortium): recognizes the project that has especially stood out in the past calendar year for its innovation in integrating advanced digital technologies into production processes within the field of so-called Industry 4.0.

• GRAUSTIC Award for University Students (co-organized with Edutech Cluster): awarded to the final bachelor’s, master’s, or similar academic project that has stood out for presenting an innovative proposal based on new technologies and/or digital transformation.
