Day 2. Where stages meet, ideas awaken

4 March 2026 Uncategorized

Day 2 at 4YFN 2026.

Welcome to the multiverse of stages. Founders Stage. Banco Sabadell Stage. Sky Stage. Agora Stage. Pitching Stage. Investors Zone. Each with its own agenda, energy, and audience.

The stands of the major aggregators run their own parallel programming. Speakers spill out into the aisles. From the hall, you catch fragments: funding rounds, AI models, expansion plans. Every stage trying to be the one that makes you turn your head.

And then there are the individual startup stands. Spaces that turn into temporary stages every time a group gathers. A two-minute pitch. A quick demo. A chance to be remembered.

Everyone is competing for attention. And somehow, there’s an audience for it all.

At Tech Barcelona, we couldn’t do any less. So today we arrived with a packed agenda of our own.

Startups took the mic at our stand. Repscan presented its alliance with Acceso to detect and remove fake news. Barcelona’s cybersecurity champion Build38 shared its success story following its acquisition. And Velorum managed to fill the space.

After the pitches, our stand became a meeting point for corporates and startups. Qonto joined NOVA Ventures and Vesto. ERIA Innovation Hub connected with Wattium, the startup led by our board member Roger Casals. Later on, Mind the Bridge and Xplore Studio discussed how open innovation can drive growth.

We also organized tours and reconnected with familiar faces. Thanks to Nestlé, Boehringer Ingelheim, HP and Foment del Treball, among others, for stopping by. Meanwhile, at Pier07, spin-offs from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center met with Itxaso del Palacio, and we welcomed Ms. Carole Brückler, Director General for Industry, New Technologies and Research of Luxembourg.

And no recap of Day 2 would be complete without one of its key moments: the EmprendeXXI Awards ceremony by CaixaBank DayOne. The winner in Catalonia was ATOM H2, a member of Tech Barcelona. Congratulations!
