As artificial intelligence becomes a decisive force in modern engineering, organizations are increasingly facing the challenge of balancing innovation, scalability, and responsibility. AI is not only transforming engineering processes—enhancing efficiency, quality, and speed—but is also shaping broader social, ethical, and regulatory landscapes. This event, organized by Casa Asia and HCL Tech, in collaboration with the Consulate of India in Barcelona, Acció, Tech Barcelona, La Caixa, and the Spain India Council Foundation, is part of the India–Spain Dual Year 2026, which celebrates bilateral collaboration in technology and innovation.

The event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to explore how AI can drive excellence in engineering and beyond, while remaining reliable, transparent, and socially responsible.

The objectives of the event are:

  • Highlight the importance of responsible AI in building trust and long-term value
  • Explore the role of public policy, regulation, and cross-sector collaboration within the India–Spain technology partnership
  • Share business perspectives on aligning innovation with social impact
  • Analyze how AI is redefining engineering excellence across sectors

By integrating the goals of the India–Spain Dual Year, this event positions AI not only as a technological enabler, but as a strategic force guided by responsibility, collaboration, and purpose—ensuring that engineering excellence contributes positively to businesses, society, and international technological leadership.
