This will be an interactive session in which Itxaso will discuss the metrics expected to see in a company when is raising a Series A. The session will be focused on B2B SaaS companies and as a Series A investor, Itxaso will explain the KPIs, financials, critical hires and other metrics they look at when investing in Series A companies.<\/p>\n

SPEAKER<\/p>\n

Itxaso Del Palacio<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is an Investment Director at Notion. Prior to that, she was the Investment Partner for M12 (formerly Microsoft Ventures) in Europe and before that she was the VP of Investments at Lepe Capital owned by the merchant bank Lepe Partners. Itxaso started her career in venture capital as an early stage investor in EC1 Capital. Some of the most recent investments led by Itxaso include Onfido, Unbabel and Beamery.<\/p>\n

On the academic side, Itxaso is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Entrepreneurship at UCL School of Management. For the past nine years, Itxaso has taught entrepreneurship at UCL, Imperial College and the Royal College of Arts in London. She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs at universities building their businesses.<\/p>\n

Itxaso holds a prestigious Kauffman Fellowship and is very well connected to the global network of fellow investors. By background, Itxaso is an engineer and has a PhD in entrepreneurship and venture capital.<\/p>\n
