{"id":19279,"date":"2021-06-20T09:03:43","date_gmt":"2021-06-20T07:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/techbcndev.wearefirma.com\/event\/andorra-sports-startup-challenge\/"},"modified":"2021-06-20T09:03:43","modified_gmt":"2021-06-20T07:03:43","slug":"andorra-sports-startup-challenge","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.techbarcelona.com\/en\/event\/andorra-sports-startup-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Andorra Sports Startup Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a><strong>Invest in Andorra \/ Innovation Hub Andorra <\/strong><\/a>(Actua) and the <strong>Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft<\/strong>(GSIC), are joining forces to identify the most disruptive solutions and the latest technologies worldwide through a startup competition to help improve the user\u2019s experience and loyalty to de-seasonalize sports and tourist offer in Andorra.<\/p>\n<p>Participants can submit projects that operate in the following use cases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Content Monetization<\/li>\n<li>Segmentation and Content Personalization by Target Audience<\/li>\n<li>Smart Venues<\/li>\n<li>Business Insights &amp; Analytics<\/li>\n<li>Phygital Solutions(VR, SR, BOTS)<\/li>\n<li>Hospitality and Retail Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/div>\n<p><em>\u201cThe aim of this initiative is to look for solutions and technologies like customer data platforms, data analytics or augmented reality, that allow to engage with the customers, know their preferences and add value to Andorra stakeholders\u201d<\/em>, says <strong>Iris C\u00f3rdoba,<\/strong> General Manager at GSIC.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Presidency, Economy and Business of Andorra, and president of Actua, <strong>Jordi Gallardo<\/strong>, informed that<em> \u201cGSIC will work, together with Andorran professionals, on a program of activities and advisory and mentoring services. Andorra will benefit from an international network of GSIC\u2019s collaborators and ambassadors, to strengthen the innovative ecosystem of the industry of winter sports and cycling \u201c.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>CALENDAR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Application opening: 9th November<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Application deadline: 18th December<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Finalists Announcement: 17th December<\/li>\n<li>Online Pitch: 27th January<\/li>\n<li>Winners Announcement: 3rd February<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On February 3<strong>,<\/strong>1 startup will be announced as winner of the competition, receiving a one-year <strong>free GSIC membership<\/strong>, a <strong>3-months mentoring program<\/strong> with GSIC and subject matter experts, the possibility to <strong>access to Microsoft for Startups program<\/strong>, where they will get free access to Microsoft technology (cloud credits and products), a one-year <strong>free membership to Andorra Sports Cluster and a touristic pack to visit Andorra<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFurthermore, the three best ranked startups, including the winner, will participate in different activities such as an <strong>Investors Day in March 2021<\/strong> and <strong>business meetings<\/strong> with members of the Andorra Sports Cluster, as well as <strong>the possibility of showcasing their solutions at Andorra\u2019s Mountain Living Lab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2760 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techbarcelona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Logo_Actua_InvestinAndorra_JPEG-SCWC17-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"222\" height=\"99\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":12993,"template":"","class_list":["post-19279","event","type-event","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
