Dear Tech City Community,

We are thrilled to announce our support for the amazing cycling charity event, Ride for Iguality, organised by our partners at Iguality. This inspiring event will take place in the beautiful Montseny region, and it’s all about promoting mental health awareness and supporting those at risk of social exclusion.

Iguality, a non-profit based in Barcelona, offers free mental health care to refugees, migrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, victims of domestic violence and others at risk of social exclusion. Despite being a young and volunteer-run organisation since 2022, they have already made a significant impact, providing over 600 therapy sessions to more than 60 individuals.

The Ride for Iguality (or Vuelta de Iguality) is in its second edition and aims to gather cyclists of all levels to raise donations, foster community spirit, and highlight the importance of mental health. Participants can choose routes of 50, 85, 130, or 200KM, tailored to different experience and fitness levels. Additionally, there are affordable weekend stays available in Montseny for those who want to make the most of the event.
