On Monday, September 14, we’ll kick off our new event season, just days before the AI Summit Barcelona, together with Gentleman Programming, in a new edition of our AI Afterworks.
We’ll move from theory to practice by exploring the leap from LLMs to agents (context, memory, and tools), and how prompts, RAG, and agents fit into the new AI stack, with Daniel Españadero, a content creator and educator followed by more than 30,500 developers on YouTube.
We’ll also build agentic applications with Angular + Genkit + Kendo UI alongside Dany Paredes, Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Angular, Progress Champion in Kendo UI, and former InnoIT team member.
To close the event, Alan Buscaglia (Software Architect & Front-End Expert), creator of Gentleman Programming, a community with more than 100,000 YouTube subscribers, will share his perspective on AI, open source, and trustwhen building software in 2026.
3 SESSIONS
From Zero to AI Agents: What Every Developer Needs to Know
Daniel Españadero
AI is no longer limited to answering questions. Today, it can analyze problems, make decisions, use tools, and execute tasks.
In this talk, we’ll cover the core concepts behind generative AI, from the fundamentals that make it work to the architecture of an AI agent with context, memory, and tools. We’ll explore what really lies behind concepts such as language models, prompts, RAG, and agents, how they connect, and why they are becoming a key part of the modern technology stack.
Build Agentic Applications with Angular, Genkit, and Kendo UI
Dany Paredes
Don’t settle for building chatbot applications that simply talk and respond. In this session, we’ll learn how to create applications that take action, bridging the gap between chatbots and autonomous agents using Genkit.
Building Software in 2026: AI, Open Source, and Trust
Alan Buscaglia
What does it mean to build software when an AI can generate 94,000 lines of code in a single weekend?
It happened to me: a massive pull request, built live with the community, that forced me to rethink everything I knew about reviewing, trusting, and collaborating. Out of that experience came RDD, a methodology where trust is not remembered—it is re-derived. Every change is verified outside the model, with content-bound evidence.
In this talk, we’ll walk through that real-world story, explore the current state of open source in the age of AI agents, and discuss how the developer’s role is evolving as AI writes the code and we provide the direction. Spoiler: human judgment has never been more valuable.
After the talks, we’ll continue with a networking session. And of course, there will be food and drinks.
Want to bring a colleague or friend? Feel free to share this invitation with your network.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Overview
Real talk from first-time angel investors what they learned, what surprised them, and what they’d do differently. Unfiltered and honest.
Overview
Inside the Journey: Real Stories From First-Time Angel Investors
The best way to know if something is possible for you is to hear from someone who’s already done it, someone who started where you are now.
This is an honest and open conversation with first-time angel investors who took the leap without any gurantees. No highlight reels. No polished success stories. Just real people sharing what it actually felt like to make their first investment; the excitement, the doubt, the surprises, and the lessons they wish they’d had earlier.
What you’ll hear:
-
What finally pushed them to make their first move and what almost stopped them
-
How they found their first deal and what the process actually looked like
-
The moments that surprised them most good and bad
-
What they got wrong, what they got right, and what they’d do differently
-
How their perspective on risk, money, and startups has shifted since
Who is this for?
This session is for anyone sitting on the fence curious about angel investing but waiting for a sign that someone like them can actually do it. If you’ve been telling yourself you need more money, more experience, or more connections before you start, the people on this panel felt exactly the same way.
What to expect:
This is a candid panel style conversation, not a pitch or a seminar. Come with your questions the speakers are here to answer the ones you’ve been afraid to ask. The room will be small, the conversation will be real, and you’ll leave with a much clearer sense of whether this path is one you want to explore.
Sometimes the most useful thing isn’t a framework. It’s proof that it’s possible.

The Antena TrenLab Awards, with a total funding allocation of €75,000, aim to promote innovative solutions that improve mobility, particularly in the railway sector.
Each year, three entrepreneurial projects are selected. Each project receives €25,000 and takes part in a six-month acceleration programme. The programme also includes the opportunity to test the solutions in Mataró and the Maresme region.
The challenges are divided into three categories:
Green Experience
This category seeks technologies and materials that make mobility more sustainable throughout the entire journey. Priority is given to circular economy solutions, the reuse of textiles and plastics, waste reduction and smart waste management, and the use of low-impact materials.
Onboard Experience
This category focuses on improving the experience on board the train. It seeks solutions that adapt carriages to different uses, such as working, resting or travelling with family, while improving comfort, connectivity, noise levels, lighting, occupancy management and coexistence among passengers.
Mobility for All
This category seeks accessible and inclusive railway mobility for everyone. Solutions should reduce barriers related to ticket purchasing, signage, real-time information and navigation within stations and trains. They should also improve accessibility and reduce situations of stress or sensory overload.
The application deadline is Wednesday, 16 September 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
