GoodGut es una empresa biotecnológica fundada por Mariona Serra en 2014 y dedicada a la investigación y el desarrollo de pruebas diagnósticas para enfermedades digestivas. En agosto de 2021, la compañía fue adquirida por la farmacéutica Hipra con el objetivo de reforzar su división de salud humana. Mariona Serra, actual directora de GoodGut, explicará su trayectoria y experiencia profesional y los retos que afronta el sector biotecnológico.

El evento es híbrido: se realizará presencialmente en el Pier01 pero también se reproducirá online en formato streaming para que podáis disfrutarlo desde donde estéis.

Els trastorns mentals són alteracions de la salut que impliquen una disfunció del pensament, les emocions i la conducta i que impacten en tots els àmbits de la vida.

Poden afectar totes les persones de qualsevol edat, i més de la meitat d’aquests trastorns comencen a l’adolescència, que és un moment de canvis importants, i cal estar-hi alerta. La prevenció i el tractament precoç són fonamentals per aconseguir una evolució positiva.

El 45% de les persones amb algun problema de salut mental no demanen l’ajuda que necessitarien. Fer-ho és el primer pas per sortir-se’n.

La salut mental encara arrossega estigmes i mites que cal trencar. El coneixement és la via més eficaç per aconseguir-ho.

La cura i l’abordatge dels trastorns mentals han d’incloure tant aspectes sanitaris com familiars, socials i comunitaris.

Gràcies a la recerca en salut mental podrem arribar a tenir un diagnòstic més precoç, perfeccionar els tractaments i prevenir molts trastorns. L’objectiu final és aconseguir millorar la qualitat de vida de les persones afectades.
