Borja es director senior de Innovación y Comunicación Digital en Kreab desde 2019. Previamente, ocupó desde 2014 la posición de Chief-Innovation-Officer del Grupo Vocento.  Como periodista, ha ocupado los cargos de subdirector digital, corresponsal en Londres y Redactor Jefe de Internacional en el diario ABC, y ha escrito además en El Correo (Bilbao), El País y La Nación (Buenos Aires). Antes, trabajó como asesor para asuntos internacionales y constitucionales en el Parlamento Europeo y la Comisión Europea.

Es autor del libro “Wikileaks Confidencial” y ha colaborado con numerosas publicaciones especializadas. Es licenciado en Derecho por la universidad de Deusto (Bilbao) y máster en Relaciones Internacionales por la universidad de Columbia (Nueva York), con una beca Fulbright.
