• Circularity and New Materials: We are looking for startups who can contribute to reduce environmental impact and the loss of value of products throughout their lifespan.
• Traceability: We are looking for startups with pioneering technologies to help identify raw materials, products, and assets, as well as ensure their traceability throughout the supply chain.

Content of the program:

Participants: 10 startups

– 2 global meetings at the beginning and the end of the program: presentations and 1to1 meetings with our industrial partners and a masterclass about GROWTH with Xavier Marcet.

– 4 mentoring sessions (hybrid) with Lead to Change (LTC), strategic partner

– 4 mentoring sessions (hybrid) with industrial partners, according to your needs

Prize: The 2 winning startups will be able to participate in a Boston Seminary 2025, organized by LTC.

Tech Up Nights, an initiative originally created together with Ocado Technology aiming to bring the tech community of Barcelona together, will celebrate its second anniversary during its 12th edition on May 15th!

• “How Ocado Technology reduced cloud costs without stifling innovation”, by Kevin McCormack, Associate Engineering Director at Ocado Technology. Kevin will be presenting the talk delivered at the AWS Summit London, April 2024.
  
  
• “HoloMIT: Realtime holoportation platform”, by Sergi Fernández, Media & Internet Area Director at i2CAT; Mohamad Hjeij, Media Internet Research Engineer at i2CAT; & Miquel Angel Pérez, Knowledge and Technology Marketing at i2CAT. i2CAT will present an innovative technology solution for holoportation: HoloMIT. This technology is able to reduce data volume, bandwidth and computational requirements for the end-user to make immersive, 360º experiences possible on current devices. They will also showcase some of the use cases they have developed in different environments, e.g. with TV3’s show Euforia or with a Museum in Vilanova.

En el marco de la Semana de la Innovación y la Transformación, a realizarse del 8 al 12 de Abril, directivos, profesionales y emprendedores de LATAM estarán visitando la sede de Tech Barcelona, el Pier01, el miércoles 10 de Abril.

“Femme.liders” es un evento para potenciar el liderazgo y el espíritu emprendedor femenino entre las chicas de 15 y 20 años, dentro del movimiento @femme.liders, impulsado por TeamLabs/ y Youz Talent.

Desde TeamLabs, laboratorio de aprendizaje donde accionamos el talento emprendedor a través del grado universitario LEINN (Liderazgo Emprendedor e Innovación), queremos y creemos  que el liderazgo femenino debe tener un mayor espacio. Por eso queremos crear una comunidad de chicas que sean las líderes del mañana. Y lo hacemos de la mano de Youz Talent, empresa creada por mujeres jóvenes que crean experiencias para conectar el talento Z con oportunidades reales.

Esta jornada inspiradora y educativa, está dividida en diferentes partes. La primera es una TED Talk de mujeres líderes de hoy, emprendedoras ex-estudiantes de LEINN, que servirá para que mañana lo seas tú. Seguidamente, habrá la Actividad ME, que consistirá en hacer un trabajo de introspección a través del método DISC (donde se analizan los distintos perfiles de persona, sus características y cómo relacionarse con cada uno de estos), y así tener las herramientas necesarias para ser la líder que quieras ser. Por último, habrá una exposición de proyectos impulsados por jóvenes emprendedoras, para conectar y conocer a empresas lideradas por mujeres.
