Con el ánimo de reconocer proyectos que utilizan la innovación para idear productos y servicios, el diario Expansión ha lanzado la sexta edición de los Premios EXPANSIÓN StartUp, patrocinados por CaixaBank, Abertis y Cellnex y con la colaboración académica de Deusto Emprendre.
Fecha límite: domingo 20 de octubre.
Seis categorías
1. Health y Biotecnología: Emprendedores que hayan desarrollado proyectos que mejoren la salud y la calidad de vida de los enfermos, así como los que supongan una aplicación práctica y empresarial de avances en campos como la ingeniería genética, bioquímica, microbiología, genética molecular o la biocomputación.
2. Movilidad y Smart Cities: Startups con proyectos que mejoren la movilidad en forma de mayor eficiencia, reducción de contaminación o incremento de la seguridad, así como soluciones de ciudad inteligente que se vinculen a la gestión de residuos, la eficiencia energética, la participación ciudadana y el urbanismo, entre otros ámbitos.
3. Medioambiente y Energía: Esta categoría incluye empresas con soluciones o dispositivos destinados a gestionar el agua de manera más eficiente, luchar contra la contaminación, favorecer el ahorro energético, desarrollar las energías limpias, combatir el cambio climático e impulsar la economía circular.
4. Fintech: Las soluciones tecnológicas más innovadoras, proyectos emergentes con capacidad para transformar el sector financiero. Innovación, ideas capaces de mejorar la relación entre las personas y sus finanzas, soluciones fintech disruptivas y propuestas de negocio revolucionarias.
5. Foodtech: Startups nacionales que ofrezcan soluciones innovadoras al sector de la industria agroalimentaria y la gastronomía. Startups que muestren carácter innovador, una estrategia de desarrollo en el mercado nacional y proyección internacional.
6. Industria, Inteligencia Artificial y Tecnologías Emergentes: Startups con proyectos dentro de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicación que supongan un avance en el estado del arte y/o aplicaciones a nuevos ámbitos incluido el de la llamada Industria 4.0. A modo ilustrativo, algunas de las tecnologías son IoT, Blockchain, IA, robótica, manufactura aditiva, drones, realidad aumentada, cloud computing, 5G, ciberseguridad.

If you think AGI is just around the corner, try building an agent. Today’s frontier models often feel like idiot children, capable of brilliant superhuman replies and at the same time making absurd logical errors, and lacking any common sense. Even worse, those errors pile up, making them unreliable. AI Agents hold the incredible potential to change how we work, learn and play. But any company working in agents quickly realizes they’re incredibly hard to build, to make reliable and to generalize. Instead, most teams have shifted to building narrow agents that they can scope to a particular problem with lots of glue code, heuristics and prompt engineering.
In this talk we’ll take a look at why agents are so challenging to build, what we can do about it and whether just when they’ll live up to the hype of doing complex, open ended tasks in the real world
