Cristian Canton is the Associate Director of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS), where he helps lead one of Europe’s foremost research institutions in supercomputing, artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies. At BSC, he oversees strategic initiatives such as the deployment of MareNostrum 5 — one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers — and the transformation of the center into an AI-driven hub supporting European scientific, industrial, and societal missions.

Jorge Palomar is the founder of Galtea AI (a BSC spin-off), a platform that helps large organizations evaluate and improve their AI systems.
