Barcelona, 11 de abril de 2024. – The online business school IEBS Digital School has become a new Corporate Partner of Tech Barcelona, the private non-profit association that supports the technological and digital ecosystem of Barcelona. The agreement aims to promote innovation, support entrepreneurship and continue connecting talent with startups and corporations in the technology sector.

Founded in 2009, and a member of Tech Barcelona since 2022, IEBS Digital School is a digital and technology-native business school, focused on developing leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit and committed to innovation, ethics and sustainability. They have a broad international presence, which allows them to enrich the educational experience with a diverse global vision. Since its inception, IEBS has trained more than 175,000 students in 60 countries with more than 350 programmes at the forefront of innovation. In 2021, IEBS joined DIGITALENT GROUP, a leading educational group in the digital era, to strengthen its online training offer and expand its presence in the international market.

Barcelona, 10 April 2024. – Estabanell, a historic Catalan energy and telecommunications company, has joined Tech Barcelona as a Corporate Partner through ERIA, its new corporate venturing company created to foster collaboration with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, promote projects with third parties and, beyond internal innovation, reduce the development and time to market of new solutions to a minimum. The agreement will allow Estabanell to connect with startups in Barcelona’s technological and digital ecosystem represented by the association.

ERIA, which has a budget of 600,000 euros for 2024, promotes an equity-free acceleration programme aimed at pre-seed and seed startups in the energy, telecommunications and Smart Home sectors. During the six-month programme, the selected startups will receive business and sector-specific support from professionals from the Estabanell Group and AtticoLab’s network of mentors. In addition, the startups will receive direct support of up to €10,000 non-refundable and access to the infrastructure of the different companies of the Estabanell Group to test concepts and technology aimed at the customer and the responsible and sustainable development of society.

The three challenges posed in the first edition of Eria’s acceleration programme are linked to renewable energy generation, energy distribution and the commercialisation of energy and telecommunications services. The call for startups is open until 29 April.

• The technical consultancy specialising in R&D&I joins the association through Magna Business Consultants, a newly created branch dedicated to advising entrepreneurs.

Barcelona, 24 January 2023. – INCOTEC, the technical consultancy specialising in R&D&I, industrial environment and incentive management, has joined Tech Barcelona as a Corporate Partner. The agreement has been made through Magna Business Consultants, the new branch of INCOTEC dedicated to entrepreneurship consultancy, with the aim of becoming directly involved in the development of innovation, providing solutions that promote the growth of the technological and digital ecosystem of Barcelona.

With more than 20 years of experience, INCOTEC works in the main areas of industrial and technological activity and has offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, Seville, Vigo, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Bilbao and Cologne (Germany), as well as international representation in Brussels for the management of European aid and financing.

Barcelona, 28 November 2023. – The innovation and digital business development studio Artefacto E2E, based at Pier01, has signed a collaboration agreement with Tech Barcelona to become the association’s new technology partner. As a result, the studio will implement digital solutions to improve the management of Tech Barcelona’s database, with information on more than 6,500 companies, and achieve more personalised communication between its members and partners.
