In this practical and exclusive workshop for Tech Barcelona members, led by Marc Soro (Research OPS & Design Strategist at SCRM Lidl International Hub), we’ll learn how to use Figma Make to build apps from scratch, customise components and create interactive prototypes using artificial intelligence.

Requirements: laptop with access to Figma and basic to intermediate knowledge of the tool.

After the event, you can join the Pier01 Tech Barcelona Afterwork on the Pier01 terrace to explore tech projects during the pitching session and enjoy networking with a Damm beer and amazing views of the city center.

Tech Barcelona Afterworks are a great opportunity to meet, discover innovative projects, and create synergies among all stakeholders interested in the growth of Barcelona’s digital and tech sector. Dream Big Barcelona is an event organized by imagin on April 17 at CaixaForum Barcelona, as part of the 6th edition of the imaginPlanet Challenge.

The imaginPlanet Challenge is an educational competition aimed at university students and higher vocational training students, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship with a focus on sustainability and the SDGs. The challenge consists of transforming a real environmental problem into an idea with a positive impact, and the winning team will receive incubation of their project in Silicon Valley in July 2026.

Dream Big is an intensive 3-hour experience with hands-on and competitive activities, allowing participants to take part in the Challenge. The winning team of the event will advance directly to the semifinal of this edition of the imaginPlanet Challenge.

A new CONNECTIO opportunity is now open for innovative startups and SMEs.

On April 16, a new CONNECTIO Pitch focused on the Blue Economy will take place, organized in collaboration with the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, within the framework of the II Nautical Summit.

The open call aims to identify startups and SMEs with innovative solutions applicable to the blue economy sector, particularly in areas such as:

• alternative energies

• eco-friendly materials

• artificial intelligence

• sensors and robotics applied to the nautical sector

Among all the applications received, 6 companies will be selected. These companies will receive support to prepare their participation and will have the opportunity to present their solutions to member companies of the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic and other key stakeholders in the nautical sector.

Interested companies can submit their applications until March 15.
