Technology has the power to change the world and, if used in a responsible and ethical way, to impact positively society and citizens. But in order to do that, it is necessary to include everyone’s voice and to come up with solutions that help everybody, mitigating bias and inequalities. Would you like to know how we plan to do it? The event represents an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the “Ethical AI Community”, the open-source community dedicated to – among other things – democratizing Citibeats’ AI algorithm by reducing code bias and embracing diversity; or the AI Residency Program, an initiative designed for anyone interested in applying to PhD programs, publishing a research paper, or just maximizing their experience before attending graduate programs.

Ethical AI Community – Building a Better Society from Barcelona to the World will bring together data scientists, and international AI and ethics experts to discuss Open Source, gender bias, ethical AI, the Responsable.ai Manifesto, and the transparent and citizens-oriented use of technology for a positive impact on society.
