Seed&Click and 080 Barcelona Fashion are proud to present the 5th edition of 080 Investor Day.

This is a worlwide call to all startups and entrepreneurs around the globe to apply and paticipate to the 080 Investor Day, the Fash Tech International Investment Forum during the 080 Fashion Week of Barcelona. The 080 Investor Day aims to boost the fashion business ecosystem from the city of Barcelona to the world, bringing together the best startups related to fashion on the current world scene.

#080InvestordDay2019 , an amazing event with two different categories:

080 Investor Day Startups:

Entrepreneurs and startups from all over the world are welcome to participate and the requirements is to have a clearly defined business project, legally constituted, related or is applicable to the fashion industry and prefereably in Beta phase of product/service/app/portal and be in the commercialization phase.

Projects must be based on at least one of the following areas: mobile app, internet, product, marketing (geolocation, consumer analysis, advertising, neuromarketing, customer loyalty, customer experience, personalization, etc.), new services business / income, services, distribution, logistics, advertising, sustainability, design, technology, “big data”, “wearables”, smart tissues and social networks.

080 Investor Day Raising Brands

In this case, designers or raising brands based in Catalonia can participate with their proposal in the same terms as Startups but also must have at least one commercialized collection and a maximum of 4 collections in the market.

#080InvestorDay2019 will take place on 26th June 2019 , at Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau, including international speakers and the leading International Investment Forum focused on fashion startups and emerging brands. Don’t miss it! A panel of national and international jury members will evaluate the five finalists and choose the best fashion startup and the best raising brand, winning both a prize valued at 100k € in services and benefits offered by leading companies in their sector.

The entire event will be hosted in English to facilitate the participation and understanding of an international public, being thus consistent with the purpose of positioning Barcelona as an innovative and entrepreneurial hub also in the fashion industry. Just so you know, 080 Barcelona Fashion 2018 had more than 32.000 attendees last year!

Startup Grind is one of the most significant communities of entrepreneurs in partnership with Google for Startups. Our mission is to help every entrepreneur in the world. We do so by hosting a monthly recurring event and inspiring, educating, and connecting entrepreneurs. The Barcelona chapter was granted the “Best Chapter of the Year” award in 2016, with the average assistance of 130 attendees per event, having held over 50 events since April 2014 and helping local entrepreneurs to take their projects to the next level.

The event will go as follows

1. An open mic session where any attendee is free to speak up his mind or ask for a piece of advice from the community and receive feedback.

2. A fireside chat with Lina Chong (Investment Director @ Target Global) hosted by our Chapter Director, Àlex Rodríguez Bacardit.

3. A networking session in which attendees talk to each other freely over some beers and food. There’s no Startup Grind where you don’t leave without making new friends and exciting connections.

Durante la sesión AXA presentará la importancia de llevar a cabo una estrategia de innovación abierta en el sector asegurador y cuál es su experiencia al respecto con su iniciativa AXA Opensurance, que se sustenta en cuatro ejes: nuevos modelos de negocio, nuevos modelos de distribución, experiencia de cliente y futuro del trabajo. También explicará su experiencia con su modelo de colaboración con startups, que comenzó en 2015, siendo pioneros en España. Además, tres startups con las que colabora actualmente en esta iniciativa, MOBIKE, Helpflash y Vidahorro, explicarán su trayectoria y formas de colaboración con AXA.

JBCNConf es el evento tecnológico de referencia sobre la programación Java. Esta nueva edición, la V, aspira a superar las cifras de 2018, reuniendo a más de 600 asistentes y 70 speakers que participarán en las conferencias sobre Java más importantes del sur de Europa.
